i sure had fun with this one! ... well, it's pretty hard *not* to make a nice card with such a great sketch! :) this is my card for the 2 Sketches 4 You challenge this week.

here's another card that i made this past weekend. i cut out the stars freehand and hand-stitched around the edges. i hope "the "guy" it's going to likes it!

Black and White Spring Thank You

it's spring cleaning over here this weekend. actually, since when i moved here i didn't bring too much with me, vlbf Peter has been busy going through and sorting his boxes. and he also made soup again .... and all the while i'm making cards (mwahaha :) )

here's one i made using a cute spring ribbon and lots of bling. i originally wanted to make it only black and white, but decided it needed some colour to brighten it up.

another quiet one here, as we continue our marathon "National Geographic", "Animal Planet", and "Discovery Channel" watching. i'm not really a tv watcher, but i guess i have become one here. most programs are in English with Dutch subtitles. however, i've learned a lot of really interesting stuff about different things from sharks to aliens, so at least it's educational :)

vlbf Peter made soup last weekend and has since become somewhat obsessed with it... so we are eating a lot of soup these days. it's very good, though :)

i made this happy bd card before going away for the holidays, but am just getting around to posting it now. :) i outlined the boxes with felt pen, and added a "birthday" rub on. i wasn't sure about adding the flowers, as it's a "guy" card, but i felt it needed a little something...

i have some nice news to share! i came back to find out that i was a winner in the 2 Sketches 4 You 12 Days of Christmas giveaway.... and.... i made the Fab5 with my snowflake card! those girls are so sweet!

i was asked to be a guest designer for the 2009 kick-off at Caardvarks! this is the card i came up with from the sketch we were given. i used mainly Bo Bunny paper, cut the letters out myself and curled a bit of wire to attach the heart.
